Mission
Statement
The Mission Statement of the
University of Alaska Anchorage Faculty Senate Diversity Committee is to
assist faculty members across the UAA and the extended colleges to
heighten their awareness of the importance of the individual and their
culture to the students, faculty, staff, and administration of the
University. Additionally, we believe that
we can act as a conduit for all of the above to access resources which
can facilitate the inclusion of diverse cultures, ideas, and background
to strengthen the overall educational value at UAA and the extended
colleges.
